1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Heard ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information during registration and to keep your profile information current. One person, one account. Creating multiple accounts will result in suspension.

3. Voice Content

Heard is a voice-first platform. By recording voice intros, voice notes, voice stories, or voice reactions, you grant Heard a non-exclusive license to store, process, and transmit that content to other users as part of the service. You retain ownership of your voice content and can delete it at any time.

4. Photo Sharing

Photos on Heard are only shared through the mutual album consent system. Both users must agree before either can see the other's photos. You agree not to screenshot, record, or redistribute another user's photos without their explicit consent. Violations will result in immediate account suspension.

5. Community Standards

You agree not to use Heard to:

Harass, threaten, or intimidate other users
Send unsolicited or inappropriate voice notes or messages
Impersonate another person or create a fake identity
Spam, solicit, or advertise
Share content that is illegal, harmful, or violates the rights of others
Circumvent safety features, including the photo consent system

6. Account Standing

Your account has a standing that reflects your behavior on the platform. Positive engagement (responding to matches, going on dates, receiving positive feedback) improves your standing. Reports from other users, ghosting planned dates, or violating community standards will lower your standing. Accounts with critically low standing may be suspended.

7. Heard Score

Your Heard Score is a reflection of your engagement on the platform. It cannot be purchased. Higher scores result in greater visibility to other users. Heard reserves the right to adjust the scoring algorithm at any time.

8. Safety Features

Heard provides safety tools including emergency contacts, GPS sharing during dates, and date check-ins. These features are provided as-is and are not a substitute for personal safety judgment. Heard is not responsible for the actions of other users. Always meet in public places and tell someone you trust about your plans.

9. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from the Privacy settings. Heard may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these terms or for any reason with notice. Upon deletion, your profile, voice content, and messages will be permanently removed within 30 days.

10. Limitation of Liability

Heard is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Heard is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to interactions with other users, data loss, or service interruptions.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you through the App or via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
